Hi Neil,

I may be wrong in this response, but I believe the MP3 player used on Yola may be flash based, and therefore wont work on Apple devices and may struggle on other mobile devices.

I will research about the MP3 player and get back to you with my findings.

Hope this helps,

John

Hello Neil,

John is correct. Mobile devices do not currently support flash-based applications. Unfortunately, this means that your MP3's will not work on iphones or other such devices.

We wish we had better news for you.

Thanks for the replies folks. Can I use one of the other audio widgets included with Yola to get around this or are they all Flash based? Is there a Java - mp3 player I can use instead perhaps?

Thanks,
Neil

I am having the same challenge and feel very frustrated as most of my listeners have mobile devices - ipads being a major one. Has anyone solved this issue?

Hello Jennifer,

Have a look at HTML5 audio players such as :http://www.jplayer.org? This one supposedly works for all operating systems including iOS, android and PC platforms.
