MS Word gives you the option to save in html formatting so you can open it effectively in your browser window. If you copy this from your browser window, is it considered internet formatting therefore not copying the bad code MS Word generally copies!? I'm going to try this, but if it "SEEMS" to work, it doesn't mean there still isn't bad code in there, so I'd like to know if anyone knows the answer to this.

thanks Ed, that's kind of what I thought. Some things such as tables and borders are more than a pain in the butt trying to do through the sitebuilder. Word can automatically adjust them to the text. That's just one of ten thousand reasons why I'd prefer formatting in word.
