Can I have two separate people with different SynthaSite logins and passwords editing the same site? Can I invite another SynthaSite user to edit my site aswell as me with his-her different logon and password? This matter is driving me crazy!

Hi Blah,

Unfortunately this feature is not available yet - you'll need to give the other person the same login details you use to access the site in the Site Builder.

I'm sorry we can't be of more help with your request right now!

Is a similar ability being considered or developed? It would be very helpful to people like me. I have my own SynthaSite account, but am editing my friend's website, who also has his own account. I have to keep logging in and out to switch between websites, which is quite irritating. I am sure many others as well as myself would agree to this feature being created.

Many thanks for your support.

Hello Ian

This feature isn't planned at the moment. We're still prioritizing other improvements and developments of Yola. I'm sorry that I don't have better news on this for you at present.

My company would immediately be able to sell a lot of accounts if we could assign another person to edit the websites. adding a user to edit within the same account would not work, as then they could edit all websites in that account. What I would rather see is the ability to edit a website right from that website. Such as an "Admin Login" link at the bottom of each site, that when clicked opens a username and password box. Then right from that website, in front of a client as well, we can go in and edit their website without knowing directly about Yola. Then if we can assign one other person to edit the site (eventually even assign them to specific pages of the site) so they can edit it, this would be perfect for our clients. You could set a slightly higher price for this feature and call it Yola for Design companies. Please let me know when this feature rolls out so I can move over 200 clients to your platform. I will not give c client the same username and password as my own account, and I will not let them know about Yola because if they see the low cost they may realize they can do this on their own. So for now, we will keep one account paid, and build 25 websites, then pay for another account....

Hi Steve,

This is a feature consideration that is often discussed amongst the Yola team and we are aware of the demand for it amongst some of our users. I assure you, if such a feature is ever developed and released, we will inform you as soon as it is available.

Well It's been 2 years since I last requested this. Again, you are missing out on a lot of accounts from our company by not allowing us to assign a person the ability to login to one domain to edit it. I have had to sign up to lightcms.com because of this. I now only use yola for websites that customer do not want to edit on their own. Please get this feature done.

Hi Steve,

We appreciate the value this would add for website designers creating Yola sites for customers and we might like to explore and possibly expand for that market in the future but our current focus is to make the Sitebuilder and our package options the best in class for small business owners creating their own websites so that is where our engineering resources are currently focused.
