Is it possible to setup up a single blog and then have multiple people add blogs to it? (i.e. a family blog site). Right now we are all logging in as me and then the blog gets assigned my name. We want multiple users is the main issue. Can you tell me how to do this?

Hello Suzi,
When one of your family members wants to post a blog, they should log in, choose the page you have designated as the blog in the Site Manager, click New Post, create the blog post (title, body etc), click the Advanced tab, and enter the Author name. The blog post will then say Posted by Jane, or whoever authored it. Hope this helps.

Good luck with your site, a family site is a great way to use a blog!

Take care,

Hi Emmy
Sorry, maybe I'm being a bit dense here. When the hypothetical Jane logs in does she log in as the site administrator and then post as Jane, or does she log in as Jane - ie can there be many people logging in with different usernames?
Many thanks,

Hi Angela

That is a perfectly valid question.

Right now, we do not have a feature that allows you to have multiple logins for collaborate sitebuilding, or in your case, blogging.

If you would like someone to be a guest blogger, they will need to log in using your user name and password. They will then be able to add the blog post. However, they will also need to change the name of the blogger. To do this, click on the "Advanced" tab in the blog post screen. You can enter the blogger's name here.

Alternatively, they could send you the blog post content, which you can upload as a new post and change the blogger's name as I described above.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need more help.
