Multiple store problems

I have bought a new domain that I want to add my Yola store to minus a few categories. I followed the tutorial about editing the store widget and selecting the categories. I want to add multiple categories but this didn't seem possible. Even if you just click on one of the categories and save, when you preview it it shows the category you have selected. However, when you click on the word 'store' shown in the menu it lists all the categories still. I have been on to a forum and came across someone else who had the same problem and din't get any help from it at all. Am i being thick!!!

Hi John,

I'm not quite sure what you want to do.

If you have 100 categories and you wish to only display 2 then this is possible. you need to select the individual category id numbers to add to pages. This is well described within the Ecwid tutorials.

You can over-ride the appearance of "store" in the breadcrumbs by using specific CSS within the Online Store Design CSS. This will eliminate the word in all pages.

if you need help for this please let me know.

Hello John

This may not be quite what you're looking for, but perhaps you'd like to try this easy idea if you don't have too many categories:

You could create a separate page for each category and then choose the category to be displayed from the Yola Online Store Widget (if your customers click on the "Store" link, they will see all your categories, though). You could then link to each page from a central Shop overview page without the Yola Online Store Widget where you add your categories as text or image links.
