I pointed the MX record for my domain consultantshext.com to gmail yesterday. I used ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. and the a Priority 1. I was told it would take approximately 72 hours to propagate. Is this true and if so will I be able to retrieve all of the emails that bounced that during the period? Perhaps this wasn't the greatest of ideas, however, so many of my emails have been going into the recipients trash/junk folders. Please advise.

Hi Louisa,

It is correct that DNS changes can take up to 72 hours to fully propagate. Regarding the availability of bounced mail I can only speak to that if you are referring to a Yola Mail account. I couldn't verify your account using the email address associated with the forum but if it's a Yola Mail account we can assist you if you contact us direct.
