And i already cross checked that my both A records are pointing perfectly. Its almost my 25th website to go live using yola. but had this problem for the first time. Help!!

Good Day,

Please sure you have 2 A records set up, one with the hostname "www" and one with the hostname "@" or "*". Both A records should point to 184.72.229.176 - you should do this regardless of which domain you want as primary.

For more information on pointing your domain to Yola, click onĀ this link.

If you have already done this it could be that your DNS settings have not had a chance to propagate across the internet yet. This varies from registrar to registrar but in some cases it can take up to 48 hours.

DNS settings such as A records take time to update because DNS information is cached, or "remembered," by a resolver. This speeds up your Internet experience when visiting a site you go to often since less time is needed to complete DNS lookups. This also helps lower the load on DNS servers around the world.

If a DNS record changes, a new lookup is not done until that cache expires, so a resolver will find out about the changed record only when its cache has expired.

When you are waiting for DNS to propagate, you are waiting for cached DNS records to expire at all of the different resolvers that previously looked it up.

If you are still unable to publish your site after 48 hours, or if 48 hours have already elapsed, please contact your domain registrar for support.
