My domain has disappeared and Yola is trying to recharge me for it

My domain clipadog.co.nz which I bought with Yola is now saying it's not mine and telling me I have to rebuy it. Please help me I can't publish my business site.

I can see that the domain is registered until the 25th August 2013. So the domain is paid up.

Very strange. Possibly a bug. Suggest that you send an email to support@yola.com and this then allows you to correspond directly with them.

This I'm sure will be worked out quickly with you.

Sigh...I bought bronze just to get it fixed, unpublished again then set it to use my existing domain. Maybe the guys who set this site up only bought a month of bronze and never renewed it...who knows.

Yola has never sold domains with the extension .co.nz, so you must have purchased your domain with another domain registrar.

Unfortunately we cannot help you with a domain issue like in your case if the domain is not managed by Yola. All we can advise you about is transferring or pointing external domains to Yola. For your request please contact your domain registrar.

Hi Liz,

In order to publish your site to your externally hosted domain, you do need a hosting subscription (either Yola Bronze or Yola Silver).

I can see that your site was transferred over from a Yola Silver account, which would have allowed you to point. When you unpublished your domain from your active account and republished, the system detected that you had a Free accout and you were asked to upgrade to a hosting package.

You now have Yola Bronze which will auto-renew monthly, and ensures you will be able to publish/unpublish your site to your external domain, as well as enjoy more storage space and premium support.

I hope this information gives you a clearer explanation.
