my font colors won't stay

Often when I highlight words and change the font color it will not work at all. Other times, I change it, save it, and publish, but then when I look at it later, the colors are all off again. I have tried to delete and redo, but now it is getting too much data to do that with. Any suggestions?

Hi, Sarah,

Have you pasted text from MS Word, a similar word processor, email or another outside source? Issues with text editing such as changing color are often caused by the hidden code that comes with word processors. The solution is to copy and paste the text into Notepad (Text Edit for Mac) and then copy from Notepad and paste it to the Text Widget on your site. You will need to do this for all the text you have added and delete the text with MS Word.

Please let us know if this does not help.

Hi Sarah,
Can you tell us your URL and give an example page where this is happening so we can take a closer look. Thanks!

Under the Alphabetical Listing. If you scroll down you can see the color changes. I try to change them all to be uniform and it is not working. Any suggestions?

Thank you!

Hello Sarah,

It looks like a CSS issue, if you have Yola Silver, you can edit the code, otherwise add the code below to your webpage(s) that are affected. (Without the <!--- and --->)

<!---

<style type="text/css">

a{
color:# put your colour code here;
text-decoration:underline;
}

a:hover{
text-decoration:none;
color:# put your colour code here
}

</style>

--->

You can find the colour codes here...

Hope you find this helpful.

If you need anymore assistance, I will help!
