Hi guys

I have been experiencing problems with yola for the last few days and noticed on facebookj that you are trying out some new stuff and some of us have been selected at random to try them out. The newest problem that I have come across is that my html widgets are appearing above images that I placed them under! I also cannot access the little boxes in properties to move the html widgets to precisely where I want them to be.

This along with other problems is causing a major headache, my customers want to order from me online but cannot because these problems mean I cannot finish my online shop! My business has only been running since the first of this month and it is showing me in a pretty bad light to my customers......... luckily my business is based in the real world too and I do get to talk with my customers face to face. Can I be de-selected from using these new additions that have been rolled out.....just long enough to finish my site?

Hi Kenny

First of all to clarify - only part of the WYSIWIG functionality was rolled out to a small percentage of customers, and these were new users only. If you signed up before the release you should not be one of the users who is testing the new approach.

However, there were some new features and bug fixes that were rolled out to all users. If this is the case then we very much regret it and it certainly was not intentional.

The easiest way for us to get quick attention on the problem would be to:

a) Find out what browser and operating system you are using.
b) Look at your site directly so that we can try to replicate the problem.

Would you be willing to let us take a look? If so, please post your URL and give us any other additional information you think would be helpful.

Hi Monique

we were actually emailingt each other about my various problems earlier today. Since then I mailed you to tell you that the newest problem was with html widgets and the fact that when I added code from google checkout (for buttons) the buttons were not visible when I went to preview. Although occasionally they were!

But if it is any help I am using windows7 and internet explorer 8

The pages that seem to have the problem are all shop pages which I have made unavailable to the public at the moment. My URL is: www.veggiz.co.uk

Thanks
Kenny

Hello Kenny

I am sorry to hear that you're having this trouble with your Google checkout buttons. I took the liberty of going into your Sitebuilder to see if I can view the issue. I was unable to do so. I've attached a small screenshot of what I saw in your preview page.

Is it possible that the problem has corrected itself?

Hi Sanja,

would love to be able to say that the problem has fixed itself but at the moment, for some reason, I can't access my site. However, I have seen the same as your screenshot, moved to check another page and when returning to the first page the buttons have dissapeared again.

I will try another computer and if I can access my site I will publish it and see what happens.

Thanks
Kenny

Managed to access my yola by logging out and then back in. Had the same problem, the buttons were there then when I went to preview they were gone. I published the site and hey presto there they are!

I guess it's just some kind of glitch between my comp and i.e. but either way problem solved.

Thanks for all your help guys.

Hey Kenny
Thank you for letting us know that you solved the problem! It sounds like it was an incompatibility problem, possibly with IE.
Happy to hear that it was solved :)
