My location isnt listed on the profile page

My location is not an option on the list so it now says we are in the Isle of Man when we are not.

What's your website address and where are you located? Are you referring to the Google Maps widget? I'm confident we can get this sorted out for you.

Hello Cheryl,

This can happen when another owner with a same business name or very similar adds their address to their profile. If another person adds their site and a business name and no address then the Google Maps system can take the complete demographics and substitute it into your maps profile in error.

It's important if using a location facility to add your own business address to the profile.

The correction may not happen instantly and can be frustrating. A good way to work through this is on the Google Maps forum and there are moderators there who can direct you and instruct you, if there have been any errors made.

It's important to rectify this quickly as the Maps facility can exclude you on such errors.

Im sorry. I have been having a problem with spam in my email box so have missed important messages such as yours. I have managed to organise it now so that hopefully it wont happen again.

I don't think it is to do with Google Maps. Its on my Yola website profile.

Its important that I am able to sort this out as people who are wanting to adopt may be put off by our location.

I've checked your My Yola profile, and I can confirm that it says "Isle of Man" under location. However, this won't affect your website. This is just for Yola to know where you are based and to send you the suitable e-mails for your country. You can easily change this by clicking on the drop down menu and selecting your correct location. Then click on "Save details". Done!

In order to provide the correct address details associated with your website, please open your website in the Yola Sitebuilder, click on Site > Site Settings in the upper menu bar, then click on "Business Location" under the Site Properties, and you can add your business details. To save, click on the "All settings" button in the top left corner.
