Hi there

I am currently giving my site a makeover and I have re-done the homepage. I would like some feedback on the new layout. I know most of you perhaps did not see it before I changed it but it has changed quite a lot. Its search engine friendly for a start which spurred me on to get it changed.

I would like you to be honest and please feel free to leave negative comments as it’s these that will really help me get it right. I am trying to go for a minimalist approach but yet comforting and friendly/professional

My site www.realworldoncanvas.com

Kind regards

Stewart

looks great stewart - well done.

I dont (as you know) work for Yola, I say this as a friend, i would highly recommend you remove that 'free' footer - It will finish off the pro look.

You have done a fantastic job Stewart!

Here some little details that you may want to consider:

1. The text on the left of your Picture Trail slideshow, I would try to center it more vertically - lining it up in the middle of your 2 arrows.

2. For the section below the Picture Trail slideshow - there's a few things that stand out to me.
a. Maybe some kind of indicator of what that section is about?
b. Maybe jazz up the links to your gallery. I remember you had some really awesome buttons before.
c. Not sure what the arrow means that point to images on canvas. It feels like something is supposed to be there?

I really like this simplistic but professional look you have. Please let me know if I need to clarify anything that I have said.

Thank you for your great comments - I am going to remove the footer at some point - perhaps once I have completed all the alterations (the icing on the cake) Thanks Sanja for your comments I shall take them into consideration.
The arrow was to emphasise the possibilities of having your own images put on to canvas - maybe the arrow is not needed.

I have plans for the link buttons - watch this space

Thanks again

Stewart, your site looks great. Congrats. Very simple, sophisticatedl. Do take the Yola link off (just to look more professional). May I ask.... the image gallery on home page, can you recommend where from. I did visit the link you have but did not see the particular one you had?? Is it possible to share? Would be so appreciative.
Thanks. JenC

I would try switching from the picture trail widget to the Ultimate Fade in Slideshow at yolacodes.yolasite.com
