I'm trying to view my page live, and it's taking 15 minutes plus before the front page comes up. Sometimes it won't even open all the way and pictures will be x-ed out. I use this page for my elementary school classroom, and I need my students' parents to be able to access it - but they won't go if it takes all night to get on :). I've been having this problem for several days and don't know what I need to do.

I am sorry that you are having this problem. Please can you send me the URL (web address) of your site so that I can check it out.

In the meantime you can open your file manager and check on the filesize of your images. Web friendly images should be between 20 and 100KB each.

What could be happening is that any pictures you have on your page have a really large file size. This can cause delays in opening, saving, previewing and publishing. This is how to fix that problem:
- click on the 'File Manager' button
- click on 'Edit with Picnik', you will go through to the photo editing site,
- once in Picnik, click on 'Resize' (make sure the 'keep proportions' button is selected)
- change the size to something smaller
- click on ok and then 'Save to SynthaSite'

If the picture is too big to load with Picnik, rather change the file size on your computer and re-upload using the File Manager.

If that does not resolve your problem I would be happy to take a closer look at your site.
