I would like people to be able to click on my pictures to make them larger. If they can be seen in more detail it will help peeps be able to make a more informed decision.

Hi there,

To create clickable thumbnails on your site, please follow these steps.

  1. Upload the thumbnails (these are the small versions of your pictures) and the corresponding full-sized photos into the File Manager.

  2. Drag and drop a Text Widget on to your page and add the thumbnails by clicking on the "Picture" button (the one with the green tree) on the Text Editing Toolbar.

  3. Click on the "Add Page" button. Name it something logical like "photo1" and be sure that the "Show in Navigation" box is NOT checked. Your new and empty page will load up ready for you to add the corresponding photograph. Add your large-sized picture to this page using a Picture Widget.

  4. To make the thumbnail link to the full-sized image, click on the thumbnail picture. Then choose the "Link" button on the Text Editing Toolbar.

  5. The Link Editor will open up. It will allow you to create a link to the relevant page. Browse for the page you want and click "OK".

  6. Save and republish your site so that your changes will be reflected on your live site.

Alternatively, you could use the Picture Gallery Widget. This widget automatically creates thumbnails of your uploaded pictures, which link to the larger images in the gallery.

I hope this helps.

Hello Michelle,
The instructions that Jeremy gave will not work in the Ecommerce Widgets. If you wanted to do something like the above you would need to not use the Ecommerce Widgets and manually set up your store products using various widgets, create your own buttons with PayPal, and then add them to your page using the HTML Widget. That is definitely possible, but takes quite a bit more work than the all-together widgets available. Please let us know if you have more questions regarding this and we would be happy to help.

Kind Regards,
