Is there a published site service problem currently ?? When browsing my site it does not display correctly I have also noticed strange urls appearing in the browser window e.g.
(http://sitebuilder.yola.com/restricte...) using both IE7 and Firefox. Any help appreciated please, I need to run a business with this site.

Hello, what is the URL of your site? That URL you provided is the frame URL in the site builder. Also, I recommend that you upgrade your IE 7, because IE 7 is not up to date and some of the features of modern websites wont display in IE 7. The best version right now is IE 8, because IE 9 Beta is in Beta and it has some bugs that display email systems wrong and other applications and features of sites.

Your published site URL is right next to the Yola logo in the site builder. Here is a screenshot:

Click that to go to your site live on the web.

Yola strongly recommends Firefox for the best experience using Yola.

I recommend Google Chrome and Firefox.

I hope this helps.

Sincerely,
Nathan

Thanks for the response Nathan but no Joy. I understand What you say about the URl's and this should not happen. These URls appear in my browser window when I browse around my (live published) website which is www.tamperevidence.com,particulary when the display is erroneous. I have been using IE7 with no major problem for nearly two years now and I still have the same problem with Firefox.

Have you tried going to it without the site builder open? Try that and let me know how it goes.

Thanks

Okay, I can see your site fine, but there is an element over your whole page and you can click on anything on your page because of it. So when you go to your site, it redirects to the sitebuilder.yola.com/ one?

Hello Jonnysmiler

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. This is most likely a bug that you're seeing. I have not encountered this before.

Would you be able to explain how you arrived at the strange URLs? Any details you can give would be greatly appreciated so that we can try to replicate this on our end.

Hi Sanja, sorry for delay, just woken up this side of the pond.
In brief, site displays OK at first, It is only after browsing thru links, the problem occurs. The easiest way for you to replicate is to go to the bottom of the home page where there is a list of products, each one is a link. If you hover the cursor over any of these links it will display a yola sitebuider URL which obviously should not happen. once you have clicked on any of these links you are forwarded to a (restricted view sitebuilder page) and thereon no page will display correctly. Hope this makes sense. I would be grateful for a rapid response as this is a live business site now showing these unprofessional errors.
Regards
Jon

Sanja. If it means I have to reconfigure all these links in sitebuilder to resolve this issue I will happily do this but would still like to know how this has happened. The only recent changes I have made to my home page are a text widget deletion and the addition of a new text link at top left of page. I will await your response.

Hi Jonnysmiler

Thank you for giving us the details about how to find the links that are incorrect. I have asked our engineers to look at this problem and they have solved it on your home page. These are now correct.

If you have any others elsewhere on your site, please edit the Text Widget - you can add a space at the end of the last word - then click "Save" and "Publish to the web". This solves the problem!

If you have any more problem links and are not able to fix it, please let us know.

Thank you
Nazlie

Thanks for you help Nazlie, this seems to have solved this particular problem. It would however be useful to know what caused this.

We think it might have been a small technical glitch on our side. We are investigating further!
