Hi there Paul,
I am sorry you are having this problem. Have you tried clearing your cache and restarting your browser? How to clear your cache

If this doesn't work, would you be able to post your URL here so that we can take a look at your site?

http://aurwildwolf.yolasite.com/ here is my site and i am on windows xp and ie 6 , i cleared my cache it didnt do the job and it is stil takin ages to update.

Hi there Paul,
Your problem may be connected to IE 6.
Would you be able to download Firefox and see if it is easier to update your site using it? It is Yola's recommended browser.
You can find it here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

If this does not solve your problem, please let us know.

i hate firefox if was a person i would shoot that person , sorry. it was updating fine on ie6 till last nite, i think it might b a server problem i just checked and it is still the same if this carries on later i will be changing to a different host !!!!! im goin to work ya got about 6hrs

Hey Komane,

Can you try logging out of Yola, restarting your browser and logging in again? Could you also try a different a browser - like Firefox, Safari or IE and let us know if that helps.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems as well. Can you please try a couple of things:

1. Try clearing the cache in your browser and then re-log back in.
2. Try using a different browser to see if this makes any difference. Firefox works the best with Yola.
3. Make sure that your cookies are enabled for Yola.

Please do try these and get back to us and let us know if these suggestions helped.

Hi Paul,
Are you still using IE6, if so you will still be having trouble Updating your site. Were you able to try a different browser. I have read back through the thread and see that you don't want to use Firefox, that's ok; but the problem will remain if you continue to use IE6. Let us know if you have indeed tried another browser such as IE7 or Firefox and are continuing to have the problem.

If you are using Internet Explorer 6 as your browser, you will experience problems publishing or updating your site. We are investigating and hope to have the bug fixed soon.

In the meantime, we recommend that you use a more recent browser such as Firefox 3 or Internet Explorer 7. If you would like to download Firefox, here is a link: Download Firefox.

Please let us know if this does not solve the problem for you.

We hope to have this fixed as soon as possible. It may take a few days, however. If you are unable to download Firefox, or get access to a computer running something other than IE6, email support@yola.com and we can update your site for you in the meantime.

other sites that are free dont have this kind of support that i have tried. with in the next couple of weeks im gonna upgrade my site

Hi wisnoe and anyone else experiencing this problem.

If you are unable to update your site AND you are using Internet Explorer version 6, you are experiencing a bug which we are currently trying to fix. We hope to have a solution soon.

In the meantime, please try:
1) Using a different browser or browser version. If you don't have Firefox, you can download it for free here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/...
2) If you have access to a computer that runs a browser other than IE6, try that.
3) If the above are not possible for you, email support@yola.com and ask us to update your site for you.
