Hi folks,
My website shows on Yola as published but when i try to go to it it says my site is not available. I had previously paid for the Silver package but chose not to renew as I only upgraded as i thought it would make setting up email easier (it didnt) and I wasnt using any other features. It remained active after my subscription for silver had ended. Is there an issue with Yola or is it just my site? I am only aware of it being down today as a customer informed me, so no idea how long it has been down.
Any advice appreciated
Thanks

Hello Moyra

You can only keep your website published to your custom domain if you have one of our hosting packages Yola Bronze, Yola Silver, or Yola Gold. As a participant of GBBO (Get British Business Online), Yola Mail is not available to you, but you can use the free service of Google Apps Mail.

Please log into your My Yola, click on "Upgrade", or on "Account" and then "Upgrade" next to your hosting package, and add at least Yola Bronze to your Yola account in order to get your website back online.

Hi Stefan,
Thank s for another quick response from Yola.
Little confused however.....in emails i've had about my Silver package coming to an end it listed things i had to ensure if i wanted to keep my site published for free.......also i'm sure GBBO was giving 2 years free hosting??
However, I have paid for Bronze......how long till my site is back up? This is a busy time for my buiness and i can't afford my site being down.
BTW - Its the google apps mail I use anyway.
Thanks and Regards

Hi Moyra

The e-mail you mentioned should include that keeping your site published for free would mean to use a Yolasite subdomain. Custom domains can only be used with a running hosting package.

With GBBO you were given a 2-year domain registration for free, however the hosting package you had was free for one year. So for the second year with us you still save the domain registration fee, but you would need to pay for renewing your hosting package. Does that make sense? Please note that as a GBBO customer you permanently benefit from discounted prices for Yola Bronze and Yola Silver.

When I navigate to your site, it is up for me (the picture is hilarious by the way). If it's not up for you, please first try to clear your cache and cookies, and retry. If it's still not up, please let me know.
