My website can not be found. I can still edit the site through Yola and it seems to publish ok but when I try to see my website the message is Oops! Google Chrome could not find totallyhaunted.co.uk. I have also tried with other search engines but get the same Any suggestions?

Hi,

Is your domain subscription still current? I'm getting a similar message when I try to look for your site. The closest I get is a cached version.

There seems to be a problem with the domain hostings servers. Suggest sending a message to Yola through their contact form which may get a faster response.

It may also spontaneously correct so worth checking while you wait for a response from Yola CS.

I have the Yola free account and have had it for almost 4 years now. I have just renewed my domain name but did not have this problem last time I renewed it.

Hi ,

Can you just go into your sitebuilder and have a look at the Account link. In there you will see a summary of your account hosting package. It will hve the details of your hosting and any renewal date that may be appropriate.

Possibly your hosting may have expired. Free hosting with say the GBBO program is only for one year thereafter the hosting is a paid for subscription and may be the reason why your site has gone off air?

Yola has more recently (2011) separated the domain and the hosting subscriptions and this has caught out a number of users who weren't aware of the change in subscription/billing policies.

Looks like that could be it!

If that is the case it would have been nice if they sent an email to say this as my site has now been down for nearly three days.

The system is supposed to advise you on multiple occasions before the lights turn off. Maybe the emails got caught up in your SPAM folder or possibly the registration of the subscription was on a prior email address? I don't know the reason but I'm sure Yola will investigate this as they take this quite seriously and are very keen on ironing out any notification issues realising the inconvenience that this causes to people.

Auto-renewal is a facility that they offer customers and you may be interested in using this method for future renewals?

I have had an email from yola it is pointing to the wrong IP address and also had an email from my domain name host saying everything is fine and should see yola about it. So confusing!

Ok, just saw this, I have posted a similar question ...
That day, when I needed my website the most in 1 year .. it was down!!!! I bought the shop option yesterday, I desperately need it quick but it keeps saying : This website is not available.
There is no reason for that and I'm having serious work problems because of this, so do I have a chance to see my website again very soon? or as it seems to be a problem on yola, do I have to move somewhere else as I need something serious ??

Both are available to the web. Sggest that you clear your browser cache and check again. If his continues then try another browser and see if that helps.
