For some reason my Domain "http://gscyberworld.com/" is not found. I made some changes to my Domain following Google Domain Setup. Everything was still working until now. I thought my domain had "www" in front of it.

Hello GirardS,

The best thing to do in your situation is contact your domain registrar since Yola does not have access to your DNS settings, unless you bought your domain through Yola. If you did buy your domain through yola, e-mail them at support@yola.com, and they will be able to look directly at this problem, otherwise, you can e-mail your domain registrar with something along these lines:

"Dear . . .

I have built a site using Yola.com and would like to point my domain name to them in order to publish my site. In order to point my domain to Yola, I need to use your name servers but set up two A records (address record) to point to: "208.75.208.172". The A Records will need to be setup to support the address with and without 'www'."

Once your domain is pointed to our servers you will be able to publish your site from within the Yola Sitebuilder.

All the best,

Bri

Hey Bri - this is a domain purchased through Yola :) But there isn't a way for you to know that. Thanks for your help! Girard, I'll answer you in a minute - busy finding out what's wrong with it...

Hi GirardS,

I have located your domain, and it seems the A records were set incorrectly. I have updated them back to point to Yola, however this will take a few hours to propogate completely.

You can search for your domain as either as gscyberworld.com or www.gscyberworld.com. There is an A record set so that you don't need to include www.

Thanks!
Jackie

Girard - the reason why your site's not accessible is because you have a CNAME setup (for Google Apps) and it is setup incorrectly. I can delete it for you so that your site's accessible and if you'd like to paste the CNAME instructions here, I'll add it to your domain settings correctly.

We're both answering you :)

It seems that you had A Records pointing to different IP addresses and there's a CNAME that will cause you site to be inaccessible. If you would like to let us know what you're trying to do, we'll be able to help you further.

Ok thanks i figured that was the problem, because I was just changing my domain setting to set it with google domain adds, and its obvious i did it incorrectly. Now I have another question.

I notice while going through my google adsense stuff on setting up a domain add. They had steps for several domain companies like "go daddy" but they did not have any help for YOLA. Is there a way you can help me with setting up google adsence domains for my yola website?

Hello GirardS

The Yola environment does not support the use of AdSense for Domains; if you'd like to use this feature, you would need to move your domain to be hosted elsewhere.

Although it is not possible to use AdSense for Domains, you can put Google AdSense adverts on your pages. Here is a link to our Knowledge Book on this topic: Adding Google AdSense.
