Hello Kevin,
Synthasite does not have name servers to provide you with as we do not provide domain name management; this is something your domain name registrar will need to provide. If your domain name registrar provides domain name management all we need you to do is edit your A Record to point towards our ip address which allow us to host your site.

Here are some basic instructions for configuring your domain name to point towards Synthasite by editing the A Record:

1. Log in to your chosen domain registrar (eg. GoDaddy.com, Register.com).
2. Go to the DNS Management page.
3. Set up an A Record.
4. The IP address of your record must point to: "208.75.208.172"

Please check with your domain name registrar to see that they do indeed provide you with domain name management (name servers). If they do not provide this, we can give you instructions for setting this up with a company called ZoneEdit. Please let us know if you have any trouble with this or need instructions for ZoneEdit.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Hello feririgoyen

Please note: You will need to request from your current domain registrar (the people who you bought your domain through) that they change your nameservers to the ZoneEdit nameservers.

For more information, please take a look at this link: Using ZoneEdit for domain name management.

I'm so confused and sad. I have a cz.cc domain and it's so easy to use.. Now i see that not everything that is paid can guarantee us full satisfaction.

I create an account on ZoneEdit.com
I set up some zone records. You can see the zonerecords on the image below. Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Then I put the nameservers of zoneedit in my domain registrar. in this case I'm talking about Neubox.net and you can see what I did on the second image: Image and video hosting by TinyPic

And then when I type the link of my domain to get access to my page I see this message from Yola saying that my name is pointing to yola and now I have a few steps to follow to correctly configure and publish my site: Image and video hosting by TinyPic

And finally when I try to add my domain into my yola account and then publish my site I get this message in red. What erros is Yola talking about? : Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Please help me. The support of my domain registrar is trying to help me but I can't progress and I'm so desperate about to scream.

Hello Feririgoyen,

When I look up your domain I see you have one A record pointed to Yola's IP and one not pointed even though I can see you set this up on Zonedit.

Please make sure you have 2 A records set up. If you would like your domain to work correctly with the "www" prefix you need to make sure that your DNS settings are configured correctly to support the "www" prefix. For this you need to set up two A-records:

* Some domain registrars require one A Record with the hostname "@" and one with the hostname "www".
* Other domain registrars allow you to create one hostname called "domain.com" and another "www" (replace "domain" with your own address).
* Both should point to our IP address: 184.72.229.176

Can you please make sure you have both a www and non-www A record pointing to Yola.

Many thanks for working with us on this.

Thank you so much Jeremy for supporting me.
Well. I'm trying to understand where did you see the A record not pointed to Yola? I mean. both records have the Yola IP.
Well. I created another zone...

one is: fernandoirigoyen.com and this is what this zone contains:

And the second zone is: www.fernandoirigoyen.com and this zone contains these records:

When I type in my browser my domain as if I could get access to the page both www.fernando and non www fernando show me the Yola page that I posted before: 'Your domain is pointing to Yola.....'

Then I open my Yola account and try to add my domain and it appears the same error in red that I already posted.

I don't know if I have to wait some time to be able to add the domain to my Yola page, or if I did something wrong with my zones in ZoneEdit or if my domain registrar is the one who is causing this problem that is killing me.

I want be able to see and manage my site with my .com the way I do it with my cz.cc.
