Navigation Menu Problem

I want to change the style of my website to one with a more modern-looking navigation menu and I'm considering upgrading from Bronze to Slver to gain access to more styles.

However, I have a lot of pages in my menu and would like to know if reducing the size of my navigation menu is likely to affect my site in search engines? I have read that it's better to have less pages in the main menu, and noticed that my competition (other 80s sites) have less pages in their main navigation menu.

My site is http://www.simplyeighties.com

Hello Mark N

As you have a large number of items in your menu, then it is a good idea to remove some that you could either add in sub-menus or create links in your site. The reason for this is that it makes navigating around your site easier for your visitors. You may find the Creating subpages tutorial helpful.

This change should not affect your site in the search engines.
