can I get a high res copy of the picture used for the banner on my site?

I would like to be able to edit the colors on it in photoshop to go allong with the color scheme for our site.
We are using the "Swanky" theme and I would love a High-Resolution copy of the Pink flower so i can edit the layers and make it more green.

I have already tried saving the banner as a picture but once you start editing the layers it looses quality fast.

I hope someone can help... this is very important.

To be honest, I have no idea. I will try to do a bit of research on this when I have a moment, but you will have to give me some time. Also I can't make any promises that I will be successful. This is a third party template so I am not sure whether we will be able to trace a high res copy of the image.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for
I'm not sure what layers you're editing?

@diane: that actually is an ok copy and kinda the colors we were looking to edit... the big reason for the high-res picture is that we were wanting to blow up the flower image if possible

@Monique: Thank you for helping me out. I have faith that you will be successful... :)

thanks

Hi there-

We wouldn't be able to get a high resolution copy of that banner, unfortunately. You can definitely edit it as you wish (as has been done above) and then re-use it in your site. The quality should remain in tact if you use a high quality JPG version.

I think your best bet is to go ahead and modify that image and upload it once you're done.

Here it is: http://www.pdphoto.org/PictureDetail....
They say you can ask them for a hi-res photo but the one they have on the page is pretty big already. If you need me to turn it green, let me know.

thanks! I clicked on the free css template link on the bottom of the Swanky template, saw a link on that page that said that all their photos were public domain from either pdphotos or wikimedia. I picked pdphotos first, did a search on pdphotos for flowers and BINGO! It was fun! And now I have a new place to find public domain stuff.
