need advice for submenus

I'm an artist, and looking to create a resources page that will help people find things that they need to create art when they buy my instructions. My instructions have supply lists so I wanted to help people find what they need.

One idea that I had is a link to amazon for products and books. I am an amazon associate and I use this on my blog. I was thinking to take that stuff off the blog and put it on a web page (please see my site dollmakersmuse.com / blog), and add more stuff too.
And I will also direct them to things that I sell myself (downloadable instructions and a few tools and exotic fabrics).

I'm trying to figure out exactly how to do it, and I think the best way to go would be with a dropdown menu.

I think I should do it this way:

Resources (main page name)
1. pointing to supply lists
2. pointing to my shop
3. Pointing to amazon and other websites)

Any input? It would be so greatly appreciated!
Another thing is that I **absolutely** don't understand how to implement the dropdown code. I saw the yola code site and descriptions but I really don't understand what to do. I really need help.
Thanks so much!!

I think I'd prefer to do this with a list of links, in HTML. The code would look something like this:

<!--

<ul>
<li> <a href="supply.php">Supplies Page</a></li>
<li> <a href="your full shop address">My Shop</a></li>
<li> <a href="the full amazon address">My Amazon source</a></li>
</ul>

-->
(just put the the 5 middle lines into an HTML widget)
They create a list of links to the places you want to link to. The first is a webpage on Yola that you create, the next links to your shop, and the next to your Amazon shop location.
You'll need to tidy it up a bit and center it probably.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for answering Philip! I tried it out and it looks great. I like the idea.
I don't have an amazon shop.... In the past what I did was put icon pictures of things that link straight to amazon. How would I do this with the way you suggested?
I suppose I could create a page within yola with all these image links. Would that work as a "location?"

Yes, you could do that. The image links would probably be easier to present in a table, or in the Gallery widget that you can drag in. You can have pop-up text on each picture using the title="..." function for the pictures

The Resources folder is where all your uploaded pics and files end up. It's created automatically by the system. When you upload a pic it goes there and its address (from your other pages) is just resources.your pic's name. From another site it needs the full path http://yoursite.yolasite.com/resource...
