What would be the best way to create a storefront on Yola that's clean, uncongested and can portray somewhere around 500 - 1,000 products?

You could use paypal and get the add to cart buttons and view cart buttons, and then make a page with all the products and make an "Add to cart" button under every product. You can also use Yola's paypal buttons, in the side bar, click "Ecommerce" and then click the paypal type you would like.

Hope this is helpful.

Hmm...maybe I will try the cart buttons, but that's a lot of work for that many products...plus having different product pages for each item...I suppose I could try that and then just add two or three products a day.

Thanks for the help!

Hello Labosa,
Have you had a chance to look at the Online Store Widget in Yola? Possibly this might work for you. Here's a link to the tutorial: Creating an online store.

Kind Regards,

Regardless of what you use for a shopping cart each item will need to be added. There a few things you can do in PayPal to help....If you have items that come in different colors for example but are really the same item....You add them together and have a drop down button to let you customer make a choice.....Here is an example of how I did this http://kanthaidecor.com/double-twist-...

Also try to group things and make category pages....shoppers do not want to scroll down a never ending page

I've looked at the dropdown menus on the yolacodes website, but HOW do I implement them? I can't find the proper codes, and any code I do try doesn't work...

I think you have to sign in to the builder with the provided login details and get the codes there.

Hello Labosa

I can help you with the Yola Code site questions. Can you please let me know which drop-down menu you're interested in? You can grab the code by going here: http://yolatestsite.yolasite.com and entering the login information provided in the rules on the Yola Code site.

Then, navigate to the menu you want and copy the codes into NotePad.

If you still have trouble with this, please let me know and I'll be happy to assist.
