Hi Otter52,

Is your site published - can you post your URL so that we can take a look?

bethellutheran.synthasite.com is the site. My problem is that I would like to do a normal looking callendar with large enough font that it is easy to read for all. The pages aren't wide enough for this. Can you suggest something?

Hi Otter52

Here is the direct link to the Google calendar home/rendering page where you can input your dates and events. http://www.google.com/calendar/render... you will need to sign into Google to create a calendar.

1) On the left side of the screen and in the (My Calendars) box click (Create)

2) On the (Create New Calendar) page name and add the description as well as other details for your new calendar.

3) When done on the bottom of the screen click the (Create calendar) button

4) Click on the (Month) tab... Click on the day you would like to add a note and then in the pop up box include the event then the (create event) button. Do the same for all other dates you would like to add events to.

5) When you are finished with your calendar on the left side of the screen and in the (My Calendars) box click (Settings)

6) Then click on your new calendar

7) Then in the (Embed this calendar) section click the (Customize the color, size and other options) link. On this page you can adjust the size to fit your webpage. Most all of the styles can handle a 800 width x 600 height pixel size but if you wish to make it smaller just change the 800 x 600 to suit your preference. If you changed the size, color or any other options then you must in the upper right hand corner of the Google Embeddable Calendar Helper page click the "Update the HTML" button then copy all the code to insert into a HTML widget in your webpage.

This is the largest and easiest to use calendar I have seen so far.

I hope this help... Your site is looking great ;)

Happy site building
Ed
