I think i may have asked the question before, but I can't remember. If you have a password protected page, and someone puts in the username and password and gets on the page, it unlocks the page for everyone in the world. Is there a way to make it so when you unlock a password protected page, it will reset the second they get on the real page so it doesn't unlock it for everyone?

Hi mE

I may be wrong here.. but I don't believe that once a person enters in the username and password, that this unlocks it for everyone to see.

What does happen though, is once you've unlocked it, it may store a cookie so that you don't have to keep unlocking it but this is only unique to that computer.

So if you were on the computer right now and "unlocked" your site, I still would not have access to your page because I don't have your username or password. However, you could leave your site and come back without necessarily having to enter the information as it may be stored as a cookie. Once you clear the cache in your browser, it'll reset.
