Hello, I have noticed on different spots of my website, the text spaces out differently on the top and bottom. Some text is closer together then the rest of the text...I was wondering if there is a way to fix this?
I know it's a bit of a weird issue, but I have mild OCD and it was bugging me ^_^
Thanks a bunch!
I've included some of the pages of my site this happens to.

1) http://www.culinarycupcake.yolasite.c... (The links on the left. The top links are spaced more then the bottom few.)

2) http://www.culinarycupcake.yolasite.c... (The "What other are saying:" part. The top quote is more spaced out then the bottom quote.)

Thanks again,

Alicia

Hi DynamicMom

May I ask how you entered the text? Did you use some kind of Word program, copy and then pasted? This tends to create problems as the formatting from the word program is carried over.

I would suggest that you copy your text from your site, paste into Notepad (under accessories on your desktop) and then copy from Notepad and then paste into your text or HTML widget box.

Hey there DynamicMom,

Of course you want your site to look nice... we know about OCD around here, we all tend to have it too!

Unfortunately text editing is controlled by your browser. Each browser has a different way of implementing code. The problem you are having with your line spacing is caused by Internet Explorer. When you hit enter Internet Explorer treats it like a new paragraph. Instead of typing enter, type shift+enter and you will then get a single line space. I have looked at those pages in Internet Explorer and Firefox and see what you are seeing in IE, but not in FF.

To get single spacing at all times we would suggest using Firefox to edit your site. Can you try downloading Firefox and then wile using this browser removing the text, placing it in Notepad, deleting the text widget, adding a new text widget and copying back in the text from Notepad. I am quite sure this will solve your problem, but let me know if it doesn't.

Here is a link: Download Firefox

Actually, I am using Google Chrome...not IE. In fact, I really hate IE. I used to use Firefox, but found Google chrome more convenient.

I also just typed the text within the browser littleus.

I will try using Notepad and see if it's any better. Thanks everyone!

Let us know how it goes. It may also be the fact that you're using Google Chrome. If you do not have success, then I'd recommend you try Firefox to see if this will resolve the spacing issues.
