Need help with Wufoo

I created a contact form with Wufoo. Now why is it that I cant
edit this text box? When I try to click into it to edit, I'm taken
to the Wufoo site where I'm asked to paste the code.

Secondly, I created my own navigation bar using links. The links (Home,
About, Services, Blog ) look like size 12 font, whereas the Contact
(from Wufoo) appears to be size 8 or 10.

Hello Jin

Since you made the form on Wufoo - you need to also make your edits at Wufoo. Then, save your edits, and copy the code and re-paste into your Sitebuilder.

Can you please share your URL so that I can take a look at your Navigation bar? Thanks.

it's been a while since I've used wufoo, but it's probably dynamically or javascript created... therefore, although you may see portions of the design in the code in yola, editing it, may possibly make the whole form disappear. Doing it in wufoo is easy from what I remember, look for the option for "form design".

Also, the wufoo paste your code page you're speaking of, that is where you will see your code and if editing is allowed, that's where you would do it.

Hi, you can see from my custom navigation bar on the left that I can edit
everything except 'Contact'. Contact is in a separate text box from the other menu items
and I cant click in it to edit. http://dellasspa.yolasite.com/

Just to be clear, it's not the Wufoo form that I want edited, it's the word "Contact" in
my navigation bar to the left of my screen. I want all 5 items to be the same font size.

Hello Jin

I took a look at your issue. You will need to add a font size to your contact form. Please edit your code in your Wufoo form to look something like this:

<!--<a href="http://daisy7.wufoo.com/forms/m7x3k1/" title="Contact"><font size="10">Contact</font></a>-->

You can change the font size from 1-10.

Please don't include the <!-- and -->. They are simply there to stop the forum from intepreting the code.

Please let me know if you have any further trouble with this.

Hello Jin,

Just wondering, is there a reason you're using two widgets for the same menu? It appears your contact is in a seperate td element. If you change it up to the same widget, it'll make editing much simpler. I'm also noticing that your html code for Contact is....

<!--

<a href="http://daisy7.wufoo.com/forms/m7x3k1/" title="Contact">Contact</a>

and for the rest is...

<p style="color: rgb(0, 136, 204);"><font size="4">Home</font></p>

-->

If you change the html of "Contact" to be identical to the second code above, then it'll be the same format as the rest of the menu items.

This code worked <!--<a href="http://daisy7.wufoo.com/forms/m7x3k1/" title="Contact"><font size="10">Contact</font></a>--> Now how do I change to color to blue?

Regarding Donald's question about using 2 widgets - I couldn't get the Wufoo form
into the top widget, it just wouldn't go in there so I created separate one. I'm not too good at this stuff so I just have to make do. Sigh.

Hi Jin

I just had a thought! You could use the embed code rather than a link to your contact form! Then, you can add the "Contact" link the same way that you have for your other existing menu links.

On your contact page, add your Wufoo widget. This time, instead of copying the link code, copy the embed code.

Please let me know if you have any trouble with this.

Sanja, this was a great idea. Unfortunately it didn't work. I tried it several times but kept
getting "this link appears to be broken".

Sanja's astute way of thinking is rubbing off on me. I read in another thread where she mentioned Jotform. So I decided to try Jotform (instead of Wufoo) using her idea above and Voila, it worked! I have my contact form and link exactly the way I want it. Thank you Sanja for the suggestion!

Hello Jin

My apologies for the late reply. The comment you had left did not show up on here until now.

I'm so pleased to hear that you were able to find a solution that worked for you!
