This is nuts! Nothing I have done has made my menu buttons appear on my website. Can someone please give me the very most simple way to add the menu to my site? I have been on this 2 days now so I need help, please. Is there a way to show you all my site so you can see it if that would help? It's not published yet. Here is exactly what I have done so far:

made the buttons(Main button and hover button with text)for 5 pages, Home, About Us, The Mall, FAQ's, and Contact Us. I first tried saving them in Photobucket. That did not work. So I saved them in my Yola File Manager. Then I understand from littleus and a couple other instructors, I need to have them in code. Makes perfect sense. This is the code: <!--
<input type="image" name="submit" src="http://site.com/image.{png}" class="btn" value="Submit"/>
-->
Leave out the <!-- and the --> at the begining and the end.

I tried that code the last time a couple minutes ago, no go. Now, the only thing I may be doing that no one is hearing, is I am inserting that code into the "Edit Menu" boxes/fields, that is between the Preview Page and Delete Page on my site menu bar?

Ty and I surely hope someone can tell me how to finish this up. denise

I see what is happening. The "Edit Menu" field that usually holds just the word Home and then a hover field also will not hold that code I was given here?? Am I on the right help site for a Yola Website? I am really confused?

okay!
go to the page where you want them.

for vertical alignment

insert a divider tool to make 2 sections on the page.
upload images one by one
then simply click on their frame and link them from properties section to which ever page you want.

for horizontal alignment

0000000000000000000

do the same without the divider.

or else come to my site and chat to me live on feedback page ill guide you through

Hi sagar, thank you for helping me first of all. I put in a 2 column and added one button(main) and one hover button. Do I enter them as images, or do a code in html widget though? When I do them as image and I right click, I don't get the option to link to anything. I know I sound stupid but it's only because I am, LOL!! Denise

PS I did try the code I mentioned in HTML widget and it did not work(or gadget, I get the two mixed up)

Hello,

I am looking at the code that you put in the initial post, this is what I see:

<!--
<input type="image" name="submit" src="http://site.com/image.{png}" class="btn" value="Submit"/>
-->

Were you using that exact code? Did you substitute your specific information in the url such as your domain name and file name?

If the files are in your File Manager there will also need to be a resources directory put in there. If you tell me the file name I can get it worked out for you, or you can look at this:

<!--
<input type="image" name="submit" src="http://fromheretoeden.com/resources/f..." class="btn" value="Submit"/>
-->

Notice how I put your domain name, followed by the resources directory and then the file name, you will need to put your file name in that position.

Let me know how this goes for you.

I did have it wrong but then I added the resources and buttons part. My problem was I was trying to copy and paste the code directly into the "field" in the "Edit Menu" drop down, LOL!! It wouldn't hold the whole code and even if it did, it isn't meant to work that way:)

Here is the note I put on the other threads as well emmy, Im just too beat to try any more today.

"Ok, you are a doll. I just talked to my nephew that is a wiz at this and he will be down tomorrow to help me. I am just so tired and really took on more than I should have:) I know that I will be able to finish and publish now though, with my nephews help;)

Have a nice evening emmy, denise"
