Hi u guys rock i comleted my website, i never thought i can do it on my own .i have a question i want to sell products on my website do i need any licence for it?

Yes.
If you'd like to sell products and process credit cards THROUGH YOUR SITE , it needs to be an encrypted site which yola not familliar with.
But , try yola's paypal widgets. i've not tried them yet.

If you'd like to get 3rd party to process credit cards for you , that's possible with yola.

Unfortunately, we are not in a position to be able to tell you if you can or cannot sell products. If you are unsure if you need a license, I suggest that you contact your local franchise, business, or government office for more information.

If you are in the USA you need to become a company and get a Federal Tax ID number....You will also need to do this on a state level and get your resale certs....I recommend that you pay a few dollars and hire a CPA to help set you up correctly....We are not talking major money here... most things you can do online.One of the reasons for a CPA is that they will know what your state laws are concerning sales tax.All states are not the same concerning internet sales.
As far as credit card sales...Google Checkout and or PayPal will send your customer to their https secure servers during check out

Caveat: This doesn't necessarily apply to Rene who's not from the US.

I is not always necessary to get a Federal Tax ID. If you are a sole proprietor with no employees you can file income taxes on Schedule C using your Social Security #.

Also not all states have income tax, so some of us to have to file sales tax reports. (Yet!)

As far as licensing requirements, it's best to contact your local state and city business departments to learn any licensing requirements. Some require more than others. Most of this can be done on their websites, so it's free to get the info.

John Thanks i found your answer near to my query,however would like to tell u that i am not a us citizen,i am an Asian but in USA on tourist visa.what are the norms for me.to be more clear i repeat my questions
1) Do i need any licence to sell some products online on my website or i can simply start doing and recieve money with pay pal.
2)Is your google wiget free including all features in it ,available to access and add to website free.and how do i increase traffic my site is www.zubuka.com published yesterday.
3)last not least how do i delete a entire page or edit page name(that shows up in navigation file or are tabs of the website)

To your question 3, if you go the Site Manager tab on the upper left, you can delete or edit there. Instead of deleting, you can also move pages out of your navigation menu (if that's what you mean by "tabs"). You can do that in the "Edit Navigation" choice in the top menu of the sitebuilder,

Unfortunately we don't have a member register and login feature yet, but we hope to add it in future. We know that many people would like to have people register for accounts and have logins for their sites. We will need to do quite a bit of development to make this possible, so please be patient while we work on this.

You can password protect particular pages on your site, more information on this link.

This might not be quite what you had in mind, but you might want to try using Google Friend Connect.

How do i change the name of tabs no the navigation text or hover text,i want to chage page name like page name xyz appears on navigation page and gives an option of edit text or hover text,i want to chage xyz option.Sorry if i m poor in explaing
second thing i want people to open own blogs on my site how can they do that.
and about licence thing i would say i dont have a ssn on vist visa so i think i shud contact my home country.

If you want to change the name of a page in your navigation:

1. Click the "Edit Navigation" button on the top toolbar.
2. A dialog box will open up with a list of all your pages. Click on the blue link that says "settings".
3. You will see two boxes that say "Navigation Text" and "Hover Text". Navigation Text is the name that appears in the navigation menu of your site. Hover Text is the text that pops up when someone moves their mouse pointer to one of the tabs in your navigation. Type in your desired text in those two boxes.
4. Click "OK" and your navigation will be updated with the changes you made.

As for your blog question, it is not possible for visitors to make a blog post or page. Only you are able to create blog posts in the Sitebuilder this gives you control over the content that appears on your blog.

They can however, leave comments on your blog post.

Here's how to enable comments on your blog using Disqus:

1. To get the comment code, your site needs to be published.
2. Click on the "Blog Manager" button.
3. Click on the "Settings" tab.
4. Click on the "Disqus" logo to visit www.disqus.com and register for an account by clicking on "Sign up, free".
5. Register your site in the blue box. Enter your site URL, site name and site short name.
6. Create your Disqus Profile in the green box. Enter your username, password, and email address.
7. Click on continue.
8. Choose your language and any other optional features you'd like to include with your commenting platform. Then click on continue.
9. In the "Choose Install Instructions" box, click on Yola/Synthasite.
10. Copy the code in the #2 box.
11. Go back to your blog manager settings, then paste the code into the box. Then click on Done.
12. When you preview your site and click on the blog title, you may see this message: "This page could not be reached by Disqus. If you are testing locally or on a password-protected page, please use the disqus_developer parameter as detailed here.." - please don't worry about that. You just need to update your site and you will see the comment box working on your published site.

You only need to add the code to your site once, and the comment feature will be enabled for all of your posts. You can then log in to your Disqus account to moderate any comments.

Please note that the comment box will only show up on your published site when you click on one of your post titles and scroll to the bottom of the post.

Thanks Sanja, I think there is a Gap somewhere,so i am sending you this image . I see here a name zarozi1 i want to edit that name to "chat".Also pages on "out of navigation tabs" how can i delete it.Thanks
