Hi Erica,

The first thing to check is that you have added a weight to all products of your inventory.

The second aspect is to set up a Shipping Zone:

You will need to create destination zone for US (remove all other Zones unless you wish to ship to other countries):
1. Go to Ecwid control panel → System settings → Zones
2. Click “New zone” and set zone’s name (in your case "US")
3. Click “Add county” and choose “US” from the countries list.
4. Click “Add countries” button in pop-up window
5. Click “Save”

Once the destination zone is created you will be able to define shipping cost .
1. Go to Ecwid control panel → System settings → Shipping → User-defined method
2. Select“USA” from the zones list and set “3.00” in “Per item, $” field
3. Click “Save” button

I use this facility extensively Erica.

I host the images in one of two ways:
If they are previously hosted by a company then I use their facility and add the image url to the CSV file needed for uploading. If I have separate images then I host them in the File Manager of Yola.

Happy to walk you through any of this.

Multiple images are a little different Erica but you can be super happy.

  • Log in to the Ecwid Control Panel.

  • Go to the Catalog tab, select the necessary product for editing.

  • Open the "Gallery" tab and upload the necessary images. They will be shown on the product details page.

Supplemental images as yet can't be bulk uploaded but it is a feature request with Ecwid. I have a feeling it is imminent.....whatever that means in time?

Erica there is a trick to uploading multiple supplemental images but requires the use of HTML. You place them in the Description box of the product and then they can be displayed. Additional images can be stored in the File Manager.

2 main ways to get there.

My Yola>Online Store>Advanced Settings

or if you are on a page with your store installed:
Edit(widget)>manage store>advanced settings

The following shot is one where I added an image into the description field.

This is the product as it appears on the site:

You could make this secondary image smaller if you like and create a gallery of images within the description box. The only advantage at this stage is that you can bulk upload them this way. if you use the gallery you can't, but the gallery displays as thumbnails which expand to full size images on click.

hhmm..... Each of my products needs at least two pictures... So I can get the main imagine in the CSV upload... What do you think would be the easiest way to get the second image into the listing?

OK. I would then include it within the Description field.

There is a caveat though: If you think that you will be adding records to your inventory on an occasional but sustained basis then I would be thinking that in the long term, adding them to the gallery may be a better proposition. Of course there is nothing preventing you from adding the first lot in the description field and subsequently the following into the gallery specifically.

This won't look disjointed as the records are viewed one by one and won't clash visually.

You also have the flexibility of changing them from one place to another on a one by one basis if you subsequently decide one is easier/better than the other.
