NEED to have the MX RECORDS configured

I am having some technical issues.

I registered my email with GoDaddy, and I was told by them that I need to have Yola configure the MX records to point towards them.

Can you help me with this please? I can send you the info (given to me by GoDaddy) via email rather then here if that is ok. But a response in here would be greatly appreciated. :-)

Hello Amanda,

If your domain is registered with GoDaddy, they would be in control of your mail setup and MX Records as they manage your domain settings. We don't have any MX settings to give to you.

What are the technical issues you are experiencing? If you want to send more details to us via email, please send it to support@yola.com and you can mark it for my attention (Marije).

They stated that because my domain and website site i hosted by you, that you would need to make sure that my domain points to them in regards to my email account with them. Does that make sense?

Would you mind posting your domain name here so that I can check? If I'm looking at the right Yola account, it looks like you have a site published to a .yolasite.com address which means that you won't be able to setup email as this functionality is not available for subdomains. In order to have custom email addresses on your domain, you need to have purchased a custom domain (eg. domain.com). I'm not sure if you've purchased a domain name from GoDaddy (if you have, you would need to speak to them about setting up your mail). If you have purchased a domain name from us, you can definitely add MX Records and we have more information on this link.

That is a different account to the one I had found on our side (I should have asked you for all the details in the beginning, I'm sorry).

If you would like to add MX Records, then the link I posted previously will help you (or if you would like to post them here, I can add them for you).

We do have other email services available if you would like to take a look, more info on this link.

I've added the settings for you - they may take a while to take effect.
