If you need support from Yola please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org or make use of our live chat service! We are working on a new approach to community-based support and during this transition period we are not adding any new threads to this forum. Many thanks to everyone who has participated over the years and we look forward to unveiling a new peer-to-peer support system soon!
so i built the web site. super easy. a week later i added more pictures. i can see them when i log in but if someone goes to the website the new pictures are not there. did i do something wrong? or is this a cheesy way to get me to pay as i just have the free site right now??
It's great to hear that you found the Yola Sitebuilder easy to use!
There is a limit to the amount of space you have per website. On the Yola Free account, which you have, there is a limit of 1GB of space per website and a limit of 5MB allowed per file.
Follow these steps to see how much space you still have left on your site:
Open your site in the Sitebuilder.
Go to Site > Content > File Manager
You will see the File Manager page open up on your screen. The amount of space remaining on your site, is to the right of the "Upload Files" button. (see below)
If you have used up all the space on your website, but only have a few pictures or files, you may want to consider uploading pictures that have a smaller file size. This tutorial is really helpful and gives you more information : Optimizing the pictures you add to your site
