When I try to create a new site, I get a blank page that says "Yola Loading" but in the bottom left corner of my screen it says "Done with errors" and never loads. I am needing to do some work for a client but am stuck! Please help!

Hello terah,
Is this a virgin site (so to speak) meaning there really is nothing at this time not even a site name?

Hi Terah
From the error message it sounds like you are using Internet Explorer. Can you tell me what version you are using? Also, if you have an opportunity to try in a different browser, like Firefox, for comparison and let us know the results, that would be really helpful.
I hope we can help you get to the point that you can edit your site for your client.

Peter is correct, I'm clicking on 'create new site' at the very bigging of the process. I get "Loading Yola" with a spinning circle. It never loads. I am using Internet Explorer 7 and am on Windows Vista. I have also been able to determine that when I click on an existing site, i get the same error.

Without being able to actually see what is going on at your end, the best I can do is ask you to help me with a process of elimination. If you could try from a different browser, computer or network environment if you have access to any of these, for comparison and let me know the result, that would be a real help. If you don't have Firefox you can download it for free here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/...

I'm not sure I'm comfortable uploading a new browser. I did install IE 8 (was working in 7) but having the same problem. I also uploaded all Vista downloads. Do you think it my be a security setting? I haven't had the opportunity to try accessing my sites from a different computer.

Hi Terah,
We've received your email in Support and I will answer you there too. I know that some people have had trouble with IE8, one of the last replies I received was that they removed IE8 and everything worked well again.
If you could please try accessing your sites from other computers and browser, it will help us to eliminate various problems.
It will also help if you try these steps:
1. Clear your browser's cache (this link has more info: http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Bro...)
2. Check your privacy settings. You must accept cookies from Yola. Please click on this link to find instructions for accepting cookies with your browser: http://www.google.com/cookies.html.
3. Try another browser like Firefox or Safari
4. Try another computer on another network
Please let us know how it goes, we're here to help you get access to your sites again!

I was having the same problem..site not loading. I had recently changed virus protection and my Flash Player was affected.
I downloaded the uninstaller...which is the only way to uninstall the old Flash Player..and reinstalled it.
Now I am once again able to access my Yola website.
Thought I'd pass that info along.
Thanks

Hi Domefavor
Is it your chat room that won't load up or is it your site that won't load up?

Hello Domefavor,
What type of code did you use to put the chat room on your site? Did you paste html code into an html widget or was it some other type of code?
Can you tell us if you are experiencing this problem with your live site or with your site builder, and also as Littleus asked if this is happening with the entire site or just the chat page.
Also please let us know which browser and operating system you are using.
Kind Regards,
Emmy

Hello Domefavor,
I went to your site and do not see a page http://funnyvideosnetwork.synthasite....; although on your home page I do see the Live Stream Chat from Zopin. Is this what you are referring to that doesn't load or is your site builder not loading.

Hello,
Thanks for providing that information. My first suggestion would be to remove the chat feature as it sounds like the code is impacting the way your site builder is functioning. But as you are unable to load the page, what you could do is rebuild the page by creating a new index page.
We suggest to always try out any code you want to add to the site builder on a test site first to see if it negatively impacts anything.
To create a new index page:
1. Click the New Page button and choose Web Page
2. Name the page Index
3. It will ask if you want to overwrite the current Index page, say Yes
You will now have a new index page to add to. I hope this helps, if you need further assistance please let us know.

Emmy
