The new style is simply phenomenal! It is truly amazing how personalized a site can be with Skyline - check it out, with a few clicks you can easily remake your site. With minimal effort you can avoid the cookie cutter look for Yola sites.

Hi Bonnie

I am so glad you like it! I also just redid my site using Skyline and I am thrilled with it. It has more properties than any of the other styles which can be overwhelming when you first look at it, but it gives you an incredible amount of flexibility and control. I especially like how you can choose whether to have your logo above, below or to the left or right of your navigation! Here is an example site I did showing the use of a logo: http://forgottentreasure.yolasite.com/

I also like how you can opt to hide the banner image if you do not wish to use one.

Anyone else building a site with the new style, Skyline? If so we would love to see what you come up with - post your link here!

Like that style also . . . Almost done with my new site and I might consider Skyline style for a revamp of my older site.

Just had a little experiment with skyline and would really like to see an option to have content area background allow us to include image instead of plain colour .

Cheers, but I'd like to keep them seperate on all pages. I see your thinking though.

You can create pages with separate image backgrounds for each page. Is that what you mean?

OK. You would need to do that with HTML and you can set it at a "Z" level behind any added content or you can set a transparency value if you want to merge the image and content somewhat.

Easiest way to research the placement is with Firebug which allows you to manipulate additions in real-time before committing to publishing.

It is problematic though from a design perspective because the content wrapper is potentially infinitely long but a single image is not; a tiled image is different. You couldn't have that background not scroll underneath the other content without a lot of workup and then you would still probably need to know the final length of the used content wrapper.

I'd like yola to add option to style designer to make it simple for all.
