Hi, if I try pit one of the new free styles on my already published website, will it automatically transfer all the stuff already on the site, including my catalogue? Or will I have to start again from scratch? Also if I don't like it, can I revert it automaticalyy to my previous design

Hi Loretta,

Your website collateral will all be transferred to the new styles you test and you can easily revert back to your original style so long as you do not publish to any of the styles you are trying on as that will make your new published style your new default style.

Ok, that's good, so if I don't actually save it, can I preview it? And if I don't save or publish it, will it automatically have disappeared next time I go into edit? I am not a very technically knowledgeable person. I must say tho, your site has been pretty easy to use and understand the basics and initial settings up. I am pleased I found Yola.

Hello Loretta

If you want to preview changes you made to your website, you will need to save these changes first. Saving changes doesn't mean that they become effective on your live site, this only happens when you hit the "Publish to the web" button again.

If you don't save the changes, you may still be able to see them in the work view of your SItebuilder, but you can only preview them after saving. Changes you save will be saved permanently and not removed if you change the page, go to your My Yola, or log out.

You can change back to a Style you used to have as Laura has described it above, but please note that you cannot restore content (texts, pictures) of an earlier state of your website.

Please let us know if you have more questions.
