Hello CinziaS,

Welcome to the forum, thanks for posting here. Your coming up bike trip sounds very exciting, I'm going to make sure that we follow your posts as you progress.

For a forum we have some instructions for either using the forum that is built into the Sitebuilder or a few other ones, here is a link, I hope you will be able to make one of them work for you: Adding a forum to your site.

In terms of the gps device, I am unaware of how to make this live on your site. Anything added to the site needs to be added by you from inside the Sitebuilder, and then published to the web as well, unfortunately I cannot think of a way that you would be able to have a live feed going from the gps device to the published site.

When you say you want to map a route, do you mean start to finish directions? You can do something like this with Google Maps.

1. Go to Google Maps.
2. Click on "Get Directions".
3. Enter the start and finish addresses in the fields provided.
3. On the far right side of your map, click on "Link".
4. Under "Paste HTML to embed in website" - copy the code provided.
5. In the Yola Sitebuilder, drag and drop an HTML Widget onto and paste in the code.
6. Save and republish your site.

I hope this helps with your site building!

FB connection you will need to look at the Facebook information. There are a few options http://developers.facebook.com/docs/

Live map with route. You would need to upload your GPS data periodically. No ability to have a live connection with yola sites for this. Suggest Google Earth website plugin which doesn't require users to login to Google Earth. This is the most powerful and can be turned into Google map automatically. The two are now seamless. Details on Google Earth site.

GPS data with Google Earth automatically plots your GPS data; your route.

A little bit more info: The live updating has been done. The data is uploaded to Google Earth automatically and then Google Earth just updates the display which is linked to your site. So it doesn't require you to upload GPS data through your site. Requires a private subscription to a satellite system which is then fed indirectly to Google Earth.

You could do this by having three different maps or three instances of Google Earth. Give each a separate name. You could choose to have them all on the one page or on separate pages. The routes A,B or C would link to the separate names which are separate maps.

Hi CinziaS

Does Gop's suggestion work for you? If not, please let us know and perhaps we can come up with some alternative suggestions.
