New Yola Online Store using Ecwid

Two questions:
1) I signed up for the new online store for one of my sites (not yet published). If I work on another of my 25 sites can I use the online store there or do I have to pay a second fee?

2) in the Sitebuilder, under Ecommerce, how can I tell if the Online Store widget is the new Ecwid one or the one Yola has always had?

Thanks

Forgot to mention I have Yola Silver

Hi Jean,

You can use your store on all the sites you have if you wish. It's an account wide facility. There is no additional charge per subsequent site(s).

The new Online store is distinctive in a couple of ways when enabled:

In My Yola there is a selection "Online Store" and in your site-builder the widget icon is distinctive. I don't think that there would be any confusion.

thanks, gop.

I think I'm confused because I played with both Paypal widgets and Ecwid in the past. Didn't I use that same Online Store widget to add the paypal widgets before Yola implemented this New online store?

Also I think when I tried out Ecwid I pasted their code into a regular HTML widget.
Does that sound right?

I'm confused just writing this. I feel bad for anyone reading it. :)

Your loud, lucid and clear Jean. :)

Now I'm not sure :(. I thought that the PayPal widgets were different in their icons but that could easily be my confusion. I rarely used them.

The Ecwid installation previously you are correct. I think there were three lines of code that you had to paste into HTML widgets. The Yola installation is a dream. You simply drag the "orange paris cafe" icon onto your page, select the products or categories, the style of view; and it's all through a graphic interface and no code to be added at this stage at all.

The process of selecting specific categories for display with the native version was really quite challenging so this is a huge development by the Yola group to simplify this so well. It's amazing in comparison. {CSS people can still get down and dirty to push things around and to the outer limits as with the Yola sites}

Sorry Rofasai for missing your post as mentioned. May I answer this on your original post as all the data and questions are there?
