Hello EvaLena

I'm sorry to hear how frustrated you've been with adding your Disqus comments. I'd like to help you with this and I'm sure that we'll get it working. If you're willing to work with me, could you please provide your site URL so that I can see what you've done so far?

Thank you for wanting to try, but I'm not sure I'll be able to follow. Never made a website before. What I really wanted is for people to be able to comment under each photo, and to contact me with questions.

Hello EvaLena

Your quilts are beautiful! What a lovely display of craftmanship :)

What I suggest is doing instead is creating a blog page and adding a comment code to your blog page. This way, each post can be about a quilt and allow people to add a comment to that particular quilt.

This will take a bit of work at first to add all your information to a blog page but I think in the end, it will be worth it!

I'll be happy to work with you to get this up and running. We'll take this step-by-step.

Can you please let me know if you'd like to have a blog page on the index page (homepage) or on a different page?

I give up. I had a response in my Email, and clicked go look at reply. I can read it in my Email, (and I responded there) but not here ? I tried the blog idea, wich I thought was great sugestion, but it's way to confusing for me.
Not sure there's enough help for me either. how do i delete this entire thing please ?

I'm very sorry to hear that you want to leave. Here are the steps to delete your account:

1. Log into your account.
2. On the "My Yola" page, click on "Edit Profile".
3. At the bottom of the screen, under "Other account options", click on "Delete account".
4. Tick off the box beside "Please confirm that you would like to delete your account".
5. Click on "Delete account" button.
6. A dialog box will open up, asking you to confirm again that you want to delete your account. Click on "Delete my account".

Regarding using 'Discus' to create a blog comments capability...well, come-on! You boast about the easy Web Page set-up (and that part is right) but the Discus set-up is much too confusing. I'm still searching for this 'Generic Code' I'm supposed to insert and the 'help' from Discus isn't!
Not happy...I'm making a blog page to write to myself!

Hello Kengar - I agree with you, Disqus is not an easy thing to implement on your blog. There are some parts of Yola that are easy to use and there are definitely some parts that still need work (this being one of them). Were you following the steps on our tutorial: http://www.yola.com/tutorials/article.... If you are, could you let us know which particular step you're stuck on?

Stuck from the begining, Marije. 'Cut and paste your Generic code here'.....what generic code?
This is followed with 'Copy the following comment count code and paste it right before the closing tag.
....What 'closing body'?
I have set-up and run Forum boards with a 'chat' and 'Comments' box inserted and managed those with very little instruction, but the examples shown by Disqus leave me lost.
Tx for your reply. Kengar.

Hello Kengar - my apologies for the delay in getting back to you on this one. It looks like Disqus may have changed their interface slightly. think you are stuck on this screen:

You'll need to copy the code provided in the second step (2. Copy and paste the following embed code anywhere on your page) and paste that into the dialog box in the Yola Sitebuilder.

The Comment count step is something different and not automatically provided by Yola. If you would like to include the comment count on the blog page, we have the steps on this tutorial: http://www.yola.com/tutorials/article.... In that case, you add the code in the third step (3. Copy the following comment count code...) and add it to your blog page by using an HTML Widget.
