No access to my email since I requested my domain to move

please can you help me, we applied to have our domain moved, but the domain had an email account attached to it and since asking for the domain to be moved, I can not longer access my email. We used Imap so I do not have copies of the email on my laptop. What can I do to resolve this, do I need to transfer the domain back? or can you give me the email webmail login in something to get my email. this is urgent as all my work stuff is on there
