No follow back links - Delete or leave?

I've been looking at trying to clean my site up after discovering issues with webmaster tools. The more I investigate, the bigger the can of worms I seem to have unearthed.

Back links. I used a tool, (seo back link checker) and it's leading me to believe that if a link has a "no follow" next to the result, it's bad and I need to get rid of it. Is this true? I've quite a few from Yola, and it all seems harmless enough. Some are from places that seem to be valuing my website and I've nothing to do with them what so ever. I've only got 170 in total. Should I try and delete them, or just leave them? Quite a few seem to have no follow after them. Does the PR determine which to keep and which to bin?

Hope someone can shed some light

Hello Will,

Matt Cutts commentary on this is probably the most authoratative. Specifically talking on Site Wide links which frequently are no follows.

He doesn't mention anything about what no follow is or means. I think I'm just going to leave them. None are spammy in anyway, lots come from places like Yola for instance.
