For last three days I have been unable to republish my websites. It takes long timne when I click "publish" and finally I get this annoying thing "something has gone wrong, bla, bla, bla" . It says the problem has been recorded but it doesn't look like somebody is doing something about it...

Hi Jack

I am sorry to hear that! The message you refer to does send through an error log and is used to analyze the performance of our platform. However, it does not open a support case, which is why the message instructs people to do so if the error persists, as it obviously has done in your case.

We can look into this for you. I would just like to confirm that this is the site you are referring to: http://www.onmyisland.com? If not please let me know.

Hello Monique. It is about each of my sites. At the moment I'm trying to publish changes at http://www.travelpol.co.uk
Actually I clicked "publish" few hours ago and it is still processing.

Thanks for your reply Jack. I took a look at your account and it shows that http://www.travelpol.co.uk is published with no changes pending. Do we have your permission to do some testing within your account to see if we can reproduce the problem you are experiencing?

Yes Laura, do whatever is needed.
And yes, when I open them they display "live". But then when I introduce any changes, I can save them, but then I click "publish" it's processing with no end. Sometimes it finally gets to the moment when it shows that red thing and sayd that something has gone wrong.

Hello Jack

I've created a test page named "test" in your account. This page is not in your navigation, and you can delete it yourself at any time. You can access the page here: http://travelpol.co.uk/test.php

I've re-published your website, and I didn't experience any problems doing so. Can you please try these general trouble-shooting steps and let us know if publishing is still not working on your end?

Sometimes temporary glitches in Yola Sitebuilder can happen. You can try to refresh the page by using the refresh icon in your browser, which generally sorts it out immediately.

Hello

Yes, I tried all those solutions at first. It didn't help.
I have three computers and tried on each of them.

I wonder about two other things, what influence thay can have: antivirus (BitDefender) and my internet source (Virgin).

Hello Jack

Hm, that's not easy for us to say. Certain installed software and the internet connection can always be reasons why things are not working. Was one of the computers you tried outside your internet network? If not, could you maybe try to publish your Yola website on a different computer using a different internet network? If that doesn't help, please come back to us. Thank you for working through this with us.

Hi Jack,

I checked this site as well. It was published successfully but I went ahead and tested publishing again and was unable to reproduce the delay. You may want to try disabling your add-ons and anti-virus programs one at a time and try republishing after each one is disabled in order to try to narrow down the culprit if indeed it is a 3rd party application causing this problem.
