I've uploaded video before. With Yola Free of course, it has to be under 15MB, but with Pro you can do 100MB

Hello Caolanvaughan

Diane is correct with the information she has provided. If it's simply the YouTube and Metacafe option you don't like, here's another option that may be of interest to you:

To embed a video file into your site, please follow these steps:

1. Locate the URL of your file. e.g.
2. Please go to
3. Select the media you want to post.
4. Enter your Media file location (the URL of your file)
5. Select "Embed the Player".
6. Click on "Make HTML" button.
7. Highlight and copy the code provided.
8. Drag and drop an HTML widget and paste in the code.
9. Click "OK".

You should see your video working. Please note that there is a buffering period - the speed of this is dependent on the speed of your internet's server.

I hope that this is helpful.

This is just a little thing I've noticed with Yola videos:
Under 45MB the video buffers fine.
Between 46-49MB moderate loading
Over 50MB the video doesn't seem to load very fast and buffers constantly.

Some tips for fixing this:
Look at the file type, if it is .flv (flash video for the web) try to find a compressor to make it smaller. If it is any other file type like avi or wav, then I suggest getting a converter and changing it to flv.

Just my 2 cents. :)

Thanks for the tips lambofgod.

As for the php uploading - I don't believe this will be a part of our upgrading phases. Sorry!
