Please can you consider getting rid of the Yola advertisement footer for Bronze users as well? Either that or could it be made less intrusive and not have a 'this free website was made using Yola' HTML snippet which shows up on search engines. Bronze users pay nearly $50 a year for their sites they are definitely not 'free'...

Please consider this, it makes Bronze package websites look really unprofessional. Thanks Yola :D

Hello Myth Den,

Yola specifically put the brand removal in the premier package because the badge does look unbearably amateurish. They are quite accurate in their knowledge that people who want to have a clean page without a gawdy sign will pay the extra for the Silver subscription. It's left on there for this very reason.

There is almost certainly no advertising benefit to them by leaving such an eye sore apparent on free and Bronze sites. This has been shown by other companies like JotForm to not have an influence on the penetration of the company name. I am happy to say that my work is built with Yola and I have seen some of the older badges which are really attractive and interesting, I really do wish I could replace the current with the old to show my appreciation and pride of the product. I suspect that there is a far greater appeal to people viewing these older sites and noticing the older badge than the "un-professional" current travesty. I have never heard anyone here say anything positive about this badge and a large number say quite loudly that they really love the Yola product. Therefore I can only think that it is left as it is to needle users to pay the upgrade to remove it. It's a painful unsightly splinter in the foot. It's not going to be removed without a surgical excision and that will be an extra $50 thank you very big :)

Upon first glance, it is a bit obsurd to think you're paying $50 a year for that BIG of an ad from the company you pay. Then I read your reply. I'm glad its there. In my field of work they're 3 types of people: Newbie, Hobbiest, Pro. Yet, they all seem as one in some areas of the web,.ie.Facebook. Unless you see the Pros's whose worked, trained, invested, studied to reach pro, go a few steps more with investing in their own selves for advertising, quality, ext. Thanks, Gop. You are very politically correct in your replies;) I'm glad I paid extra to stand out from others in my venue of work & moreso thankful Yola separates the likes of such. *No offense towards Myth Den, its just that I totally agreed with you at 1st to see Gop correct my thinking*

Thanks for the quick reply Gop, I totally agree with you and this is exactly the point I'm trying to raise. Yola is great and some of the older badges were so unobtrusive that you didn't even mind advertising the fact that your website was made with Yola. However, the new footers are huge and make no attempt to blend into your website at all. Like you say Gop, it doesn't really help Yola get customers, only attempts to force existing ones to pay more! I'm also trying to stress the point that the $50 per year Bronze Package badge still suggests, when you hover your cursor over it:

This free website was made using Yola.

I love Yola, but this is almost insulting to someone paying for a website with them. Please Yola team, consider our ideas and attempt to rectify this...

I just want Bronze users to get behind this idea so that Yola might realise that people shouldn't pay and then have to advertise their product...
