I don't understand what to do. I have a domain name registered, almost a month ago I never used yet. Is it protected until I use it. I set up a hosting account somewhere else, and not where I registered it. I tried to change record at but I didn't see where I could point it, I had already pointed it to, but then I closed account, how can I solve this issue? I never built website yet, can I still point it to synthasite?

Hi there,

I hope I'm answering your question, but I think this is what you should do:

1. Configure your domain with your domain registrar so that it points to SynthaSite
2. You shouldn't need the hosting account as your site will be hosted at SynthaSite

How to configure a domain name you already own:
1. Log in to your chosen domain registrar (eg.,
2. Go to the DNS Management page.
3. Set up an A Record
4. The IP address of your record must point to: ""

Please note that it can take up to 48 hours (although usually less) for these changes to take effect and you need to contact your domain registrar if you need help in that regard.

We have a great tutorial, click here

Let us know if you need any other details?
