Not working on

I've built a site via Synthasite (Yola), downloaded and uploaded it to my hosting server at The won't load; I get a HTTP 404 error. When I spoke to their Advanced support found that a script in the index.php file had an error and by removing it they could make the site load. Unfortunately, for liability reasons, they could tell me what the error was. I have been unable to solve the problem. Can you help?

Here's the PHP from my index.php file:

getComponentProperty('id')) {

} else if ($renderPaletteCSS) {
$smarty->display('templates/' . $templateName . '/layouts/' . $layoutName . '/style.css.tpl');
} else if ($renderTextCSS) {
$smarty->display('templates/' . $templateName . '/text.css.tpl');
} else {
//Simple password protection
if (_SYSTEM_MODE != 'DESIGN' && $systemProperties['system']['page']['protected'] == 'true') {
if (!isset($_SESSION['validAuth']) || $_SESSION['validAuth'] != $systemProperties['system']['site']['auth']['key']) {
require_once('classes'. DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR . 'commons' . DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR . 'protection' . DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR . '');

$smarty->display('templates/' . $templateName . '/layouts/' . $layoutName . '/template.html');

Hi Anil,

We endeavour to make sure that our sites work fine on as wide a range of platforms as possible, but for obvious reasons, we cannot support sites running on other servers, to which we have no access, and about which we have no information.

If you could give us some more details, we might be able to help you debugging the problem, but if GoDaddy are unwilling to explain what is going wrong, I'm afraid we can't help you any further.
