Yola Should offer just hosting for Yola Silver members; this would add value to your service aswell as an even more customizable way to use yola. This would be really handy for me as I myself am a web designer; i do however like Yola's improved site builder.

Thanks,
Jake Thompson

Hi Jake,
Thanks for the feature request. I cannot say if Yola will ever consider in the future to simply host externally built sites, but we are really happy to know what people are interested in seeing. It helps with our planning :)

Kind Regards,
Emmy

It would be nice if they offered us to let us upload html files to the free plan.

Also, what I really want to do is to be able to edit the source of my Yola built site. I am a designer too and I am very experienced with (X)HTML, CSS and I am learning JavaScript right now. Like, I can't place the whole page in a div or something because when i try using an html widget just to put an opening DIV tag, it won't show up on the whole page like I would like it too. And then at the bottom I would put <!-- "</div>" --> in another HTML widget, but it wont work. But, right now it is nice, but it would be even better for us to have the ability to edit the source (HTML) code of the page! :)

Regards,
Nathan

Hello Nathan

Thank you for making your requests known. I just want to let you know that we do not have any plans at this time to allow HTML files to be uploaded for Yola Free accounts. We have lifted that restriction for the Yola Silver accounts.

I do want to assure you that we are hearing yours and other people's request to have more flexibility when it comes to editing your site. We are taking this into consideration as we continue to make improvements to our Sitebuilder.

does yola have a function that will allow people to become members of my own site? www.webs.com allows it, but i like yola better and would like to know if yola would be held externally responsible for each individual profile of users on my website? is it even possible on yola to add people as ,members of my site???

Hi mera

Yola currently doesn't have this feature. You can Password Protect your pages, but you wont be able to assign individual usernames and passwords to each user. Here is more information on this: Membership.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask :)

Hello Mera,

Nathan is correct - we do not off this feature. I hope you can make use of the suggestions that Nathan suggested.
