Hello Donald

I'm not sure I understand this question. What is it supposed to clear? Is it attached to a form or something?

Perhaps if you could share the page URL of where you've implemented this and the code, we may be able to assist further.

well, the page I had it on, this particular code was deleted (just for now)... what I'm referring to is when you fill out a form, maybe you filled out the form incorrectly and would like fields to be cleared with the push of a button... I want the clear button to actually do it's job... the code I've used for the clear button...

<!--

<input type="reset" value="clear">

In your form code, I believe you would simply add that piece of code at the bottom of your form somewhere before the

e.g.
<form id="form1">
<input type="text"/>
<input type="text"/>
<input type="password"/>
<input type="text"/>
<input type="reset" value="clear">
</form>

lol, you would think that's it... but... look at that form and think about it... I've been learning a little about php and I can tell you this... to make something like this work... the reset button would have to link to the other fields... like

a code like this would tell the to be read from the

although, I'm thinking this isn't the code - just an example of how it would have to be linked to each field in the form! I tried the method you provided above, for some reason it didn't work.

This is actually referring to my login box which is a non yola thing. What I am trying to do is create my encyclopedia's homepage on a php host and provide a login box. Every non members thing (most articles, etc.) will be hosted on Yola. But I wanna be able to make the site's link back and forth for member's area and public area. I don't wanna do the whole thing on php cause it's too difficult, yola's simplified, my php host is 100% in the code - no click and drag stuff. But I wanna be able to provide things like, a Member's account, and a this is your name, this is your website, this is your email, these are your favorite articles, etc... kinda like a dashboard for the users. They will also need to login to submit article edits to the administrator (me).

But I'm actually thinking the clear button might in fact, not be all that important.
