When I first started using Synthasite, my website used tobepublished as www.benoni-radio-flyers.synthasite.com. I recently purchased my own domain in South Africa for this site, and re-published it using www.benoniradioflyers.co.za. Everything is working 100% fine, except, that if you perform a search in Google for: benoni radio flyers, my old Synthasite domain name still appears. I have removed the old site name from Google webmasters & Analytics. I have added my new site www.benoniradioflyers.co.za to Google Webmasters and analytics. When will my old site be removed from Google searches and my new site appear?

Hello Arno,
This is happening because your new domain has not yet been indexed. It will take a bit of time for the search engines to remove the old domain from their index, and put in the new one. I wish I could say for sure how long this will take, but I can't be sure.

I see you verified your new domain with Google Webmaster, did you also submit a sitemap? Here is a link to our tutorial if you want to do this: Submitting a sitemap, if you scroll down the sitemap instructions will be towards the bottom in Step 2.

Hope this helps!
