Your site says my site isn't published yet but if I directly type my domain name (.com not .yola) it comes up though it doesn't appear on the google list if I type the name generally. What do I have to do to ensure the site which is in my unique separately registered domain name is visible to google

Hello Adriana,

Have you submitted your site to Google Webmasters for verification and also submitted your site map, the procedure is outlined in Step#2 of the same Tutorial.?

Once this is verified you will see it by typing your site name into the Google Search bar. This process can take several months and is outside of the control of the sitebuilder.

It then may take a while for your site to appear in searches using keywords. This is a relatively complex process used by the Search engines but may be optimised by the web creator and Yola have produced a number of tutorials on this topic to help.

Search Engine Optimisation is not something that happens over-night and requires an ongoing input to bring your site into the first pages offered when a searcher types in a search phrase or keywords into the search bar.
